The restaurant is located on the Strada del Ponale, which was built by the rich merchant Giacomo Cis in the middle of the 19th century to create a link with the Ledro Valley. The first restaurant opened here in March 1900, but it was closed for a long time until it was completely renovated and reopened in 2014.
